Volta Limburg Classic

- Er is gebruikt gemaakt van 3 lokale productiemethoden, namelijk watersnijden, lasergraveren en FDM 3D printen
- Er zijn geen lijmverbindingen gebruikt
Deze trofee is voor de winnaar van de Volta Classic 2023. Het bijzondere aan deze trofee is dat hij door lokale bedrijven en instanties gemaakt is met circulariteit als centraal focus punt. De trofee is gemaakt van een goed te recyclen polymeer namelijk PET en ook een goed te recyclen metaal namelijk Aluminium. In deze trofee is gebruik gemaakt van een persfitting waardoor een lijm niet nodig is. Dit maakt het recyclen van deze trofee nog makkelijker.
Ontwikkelaar van de trofee is CHILL in samen werking met Zuyd Hogeschool opleiding Engineering en KTN Design

This trophy is for the winner of the Volta Classic 2023. The thing that makes this trophy stand out is that it was made by local companies and agencies with circularity as a central focus point. The trophy is made of a polymer that is easy to recycle, namely PET, and a metal that is also easy to recycle, namely aluminum. This trophy uses a press fitting, so that glue is not necessary. This makes recycling of this trophy even easier.
Developer of the trophy is CHILL in collaboration with Zuyd Hogeschool Engineering and KTN Design.
